In this era of limited releases and exclusive drops, only a select group of customers have a shot at getting their hands on the hottest Yeezys and Jordans. Without a go-to kick connection or the willingness to invest the time and effort to waiting in line, most people never have a fair shot.

Finish Line wanted to re-write the rules by offering a convenient and accessible way for the everyday customer to have stake in the sneaker hunt game.

Our challenge was to design a mobile app experience that would modernize and streamline the process of getting the hottest sneakers into the hands of Finish Line’s most eager customers.

Our team consisted of two experience designers, a copywriter, and a visual designer. We worked together to design a sneaker reservation system that allowed users to get their hands on the most coveted shoes in just a few simple taps.

I was involved in all stages of the design process including user research, user modeling, design, and evaluation. I conducted one-on-one interviews with users, led a focus group with store associates, and gathered market research. I mapped out screens flows, designed wireframes, and created functional prototypes. I led usability tests with participants and analyzed the data to drive design iterations.
